Adorable Calf For Ermintrude

Visitors on a Bank Holiday day out at Odds Farm Park will love to meet the adorable calf born to first-time mum Ermintrude, a Jersey Cow!

After an initial rocky start to motherhood, Ermintrude has now taken to it perfectly and absolutely adores her little boy. Both mum and baby are doing well and can be seen by visitors in the outside Paddocks.

In addition to meeting the new calf this Bank Holiday Weekend, children will love to take part in the Daily Animal Activities and Demonstrations.  From “Funny Bunnies” to Bottle Feeding the older Lambs and the “Meet the Animals”, all the Activities and Demonstrations are supervised by the friendly Livestock Team.  Plus, with stacks of Indoor and Outdoor play, there is stacks of fun, whatever the weather!

Piggies Get Icy Treats

Families on a day out will be interested to learn that Odds Farm Park’s pigs are keeping cool in the Summer Heat by indulging in giant ice lollies!

The chilly treats are especially made for the animals by the farmers with apples, plums and water and then frozen for at least 24 hours.  Delicious, healthy and yummy…even the smallest piglets are loving the treats.

Children on a day out will love to see the pigs and piglets in the outdoor Animal Paddocks this Summer.

Born recently to mum, Turkish Delight, a British White Cow, Elisa is settling in well to life at Odds Farm Park and especially enjoying the sunshine!

So Many Babies To Meet

There’s so many cute and fluffy friends to meet at Odds Farm Park this May!

From cheeky Pygmy Goat Kids to noisy little Berkshire Piglets and plenty of fluffy Lambs of many breeds including Herdwick, Castlemilk Moorit, Balwen, Greyface Dartmoor and Whiteface Woodland, all the new arrivals are settling in well to life on the farm.

Meet The Easter Cuties

Over the past two weeks there has been somewhat of a Spring Baby Boom at children’s farm, Odds Farm Park!

Lambs, Lambs, Lambs

Meet Gladys!  Visitors on a day out to Odds Farm Park will love to meet plenty of cute new arrivals including the adorable Gladys – a WhiteFaced Woodland Lamb.  Born to mum, Cherry, and dad, Edward, Gladys is settling in well to life on the Farm and visitors can meet her in the Undercover Animal Barns.  Gladys is just one of plenty more cute fluffy newborn lambs at the farm.

Visitors to the farm will be interested to learn the Whitefaced Woodland is a large and hardy breed of hill sheep in which both ewes and rams have horns.

The Whitefaced Woodland is one of the largest of British hill breeds and they are strong-boned and robust. Their wool is white and finer than that of many other hill breeds, being suitable for the manufacture of knitting or hosiery wool.
