Bottle Feed Kid Goats

It’s back! Every day this February Half Term at family day out favourite, Odds Farm Park, children on a day out can help the farmers bottle feed the cheeky kid goats. The cute kid goats are specially trained to drink from bottles, and children will love to get close to them with this great hands-on experience.

Chick, Chick, Chick, Chick Chickens!

So adorable!  On a family day out at Odds Farm Park, youngsters can now meet the first cute newborn fluffy chicks of 2014!

The new arrivals can be seen by visitors in the large Undercover Animal barns.  Plus, there’s been even more newborns at the farm! With the arrival of lambs, goats and piglets, there’s plenty of furry friends to meet at the farm this Half Term!

Combined with the Giant Indoor Playbarn, stacks of Daily Animal Activities and Demonstrations and plenty of outdoor activities, there’s so much to do at Odds Farm Park at Half Term.

Stacks Of January Animal Activities!

Children on a day out will be pleased to learn that every day this January, whatever the weather at family day out favourite, Odds Farm Park, there are numerous animal based activities to enjoy in the large Undercover Animal Barns.

Supervised by the Livestock team, there are lots of fun Animal Activities and Demonstrations to take part in and watch.  For example, the Piggies Tea Time activity allows children to meet different breeds of pigs and learn about them before feeding them their tea,  the “Funny Bunnies” sessions allow children on a day out to get up close to the long eared residents of the farm and Cow Milking is a great way to learn how a cow is milked using modern day farming methods.

Plenty Of Christmas Babies

It’s babies galore at Odds Farm Park!  Just in time for Christmas, we have had adorable lambs and two litters of cheeky piglets born!

First of all Gloucestershire Old Spot sow, Kate, gave birth to piglets and some lucky visitors were able to see them born! Then our Jacob ewe, Pineapple, gave birth to two girls girls called Kit Kat and Boost.  This was followed by the arrival of another litter of piglets born to mum Iggle Piggle, a Middle White sow.

Children on a day out will be pleased to learn, they can meet the new arrivals and plenty more furry friends in the Undercover Animals Barns. Combined with a jam-packed Animal Activity and Demonstration Programme, there’s so much to do!

Piglets, Piglets, Piglets

Staff at Award Winning Children’s Farm, Odds Farm Park are celebrating the recent arrival of two super cute litters of piglets!

The first set of adorable new arrivals were born to mum Ginnie, a Berkshire Sow and the second set to arrive were born to Wibbly, a Tamworth Sow.  Some visitors on a day out were even lucky enough to see Wibbly’s piglets born!

All of the cheeky piglets are sure to be the centre of attention and are already attracting lots of visitors on a day out this Half Term!
