Piglets at Odds Farm
Piglets at Odds Farm

On Tuesday 9 June, Splodge, one of Odds Farm Park’s  Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs gave birth to a cute litter of piglets. With dad a Gloucestershire Old Spot too (and coincidently also named Splodge!), this makes them the first pure bred  Gloucestershire Old Spot piglets born at this childrens farm since November 2003.

During your day out you can see Splodge and her piglets in the Pig Aisle at the back of the Playbarn. Once the piglets are large enough, the family will move outside to play in the sun. One of Splodge’s daughters will also stay at Odds Farm Park and hopefully have babies of her own one day.

In addition to pigs, children can also pat rabbits, pet ponies and hand feed greedy sheep and goats on a day out at this childrens farm. Combined with Sheep Racing, Indoor Playbarn with Astra Slide and Go Karts, there’s so much to do.

Odds Farm Park is a great day out with the kids, easily reached from North London, West London, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. For more information to plan a day out, visit www.oddsfarm.co.uk.
