Adorable Calf For Ermintrude

Visitors on a Bank Holiday day out at Odds Farm Park will love to meet the adorable calf born to first-time mum Ermintrude, a Jersey Cow!

After an initial rocky start to motherhood, Ermintrude has now taken to it perfectly and absolutely adores her little boy. Both mum and baby are doing well and can be seen by visitors in the outside Paddocks.

In addition to meeting the new calf this Bank Holiday Weekend, children will love to take part in the Daily Animal Activities and Demonstrations.  From “Funny Bunnies” to Bottle Feeding the older Lambs and the “Meet the Animals”, all the Activities and Demonstrations are supervised by the friendly Livestock Team.  Plus, with stacks of Indoor and Outdoor play, there is stacks of fun, whatever the weather!

Family day out favourite, Odds Farm Park is easily reached from Beaconsfield, Amersham, Chesham, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Great Missenden and Wendover. For more information, directions and prices visit the family days out website www.oddsfarm.co.uk

Piggies Get Icy Treats

Families on a day out will be interested to learn that Odds Farm Park’s pigs are keeping cool in the Summer Heat by indulging in giant ice lollies!

The chilly treats are especially made for the animals by the farmers with apples, plums and water and then frozen for at least 24 hours.  Delicious, healthy and yummy…even the smallest piglets are loving the treats.

Children on a day out will love to see the pigs and piglets in the outdoor Animal Paddocks this Summer.

Elsewhere at Odds Farm Park – voted “Farm Park Of The Year 2013” – visitors on a Summer day out can expect more exciting activities – enjoy the fun of the Charles Chipperfield Circus, win a Medal at Sheep Racing*, board Tractor and Trailer Rides*, race Go Karts and meet Furry Friends in the large Undercover Animal Barns.  Combined with a jam-packed Animal Activity and Demonstration Programme and the Giant Indoor Playbarn, including a special Toddler and Under 5’s areas, there’s so much to do!

Odds Farm Park is located just minutes from Junction 2 of the M40, near Beaconsfield. For more information, visitors on a day out should call 01628 520188 or visit www.oddsfarm.co.uk.
