Preparations are well underway for spring lambing at children’s farm, Odds Farm Park!  Russell, a very handsome Jacob ram, has recently been sharing a pen with the Jacob ewes in the Undercover Animal Barns.

Visitors on a day out will be able to recognise Russell by his curly horns and beautiful black and white coat.  However, Russell is not the only ram to have gone in with the ewes – one of the farm’s Whitefaced Woodland rams has been in too!

Ewes are pregnant for five months and so visitors to the family day out favourite can look forward to meeting plenty of cute new arrivals in the Spring.

Award winning kid’s farm Odds Farm Park provides a fantastic day out for all the family and is easily reached from West London, London, Berkshire, North London, Buckinghamshire and Oxford. It is very close to Maidenhead, Marlow, Uxbridge and Beaconsfield. For more information, directions and prices visit the family days out website www.oddsfarm.co.uk

A real treat awaits visitors on a day out to children’s farm, Odds Farm Park, as staff at the popular visitor attraction recently welcomed the arrival of Anglo Nubian billy goat, Barnaby!

Barnaby has recently relocated to Odds Farm Park from Cornwall and is settling in well in one of the paddocks, making friends with all the other billy goats!  Very friendly and extremely handsome, children on a day out will love to meet him.

The Anglo Nubian goat was created in the UK at the end of the Nineteenth Century.  The breed was developed by crossing goats in England with those arriving on Ocean Liners from the East.  Anglo Nubian goats are renowned for creating the best tasting and highest quality goat’s milk.

On a day out to Odds Farm Park, children can identify the Anglo Nubian goats by their height (they are one of the tallest breeds of goat) and their long drooping ears.

Elsewhere at Odds Farm Park, families on a day out can meet even more furry friends and even get close up to them in the Designated Animal Feeding Area.   Combined with a jam-packed Animal Activity and Demonstration Programme, there’s so much to do!

Odds Farm Park is an award winning children’s farm providing an ideal family day out and is easily reached from North London, West London, London and Buckinghamshire. To visit the family days out website, visit www.oddsfarm.co.uk
