Say Hello To Florrie

Just over a week old, new arrival Florrie the Highland calf is settling in well to life at children’s farm, Odds Farm Park.   Born on Wednesday 22 April to proud mum Brave, Florrie is enjoying life on the farm!

Visitors to the farm this Bank Holiday Weekend can see Florrie and Brave in the Dipple Field Paddocks and will be interested to learn that Highland Cattle are one of Britain’s oldest, most distinctive, and best known breeds.  They are easily recognisable by their long, thick coat of rich hair and Brave has majestic sweeping horns.

Families on a day out will also be delighted to learn that there has been somewhat of a Baby Boom prior to the Bank Holiday at Odds Farm Park!  As well as the arrival of Florrie, the past week has seen piglets, kid goats and yet another calf born on the farm!

Elswehere at the farm, there is plenty more fun to discover this Bank Holiday Weekend.  Within the Giant Indoor Playbarn, you’ll find a massive adventure play area including a 4 lane Astra Slide, 2 large drop slides, a netted area with zig zag chicanes & tunnels, swinging ropes and much more.  With special Toddler and Under 5’s areas, there’s bags of fun for all ages.

Combined with the outdoor play, including Tractor And Trailer Rides (weather permitting), Go-Karts, Log Play Areas, Sand & Water Play and Crazy Golf, there’s so much to do.

Award winning Odds Farm Park is located just minutes from Junction 2 of the M40, near Beaconsfield. For full details, visitors should call 01628 520188 or visit www.oddsfarm.co.uk.

Erol loves the Camera

Having recently been given a fantastic Go Pro Camera, the Farmers at family day out favourite Odds Farm Park have had great fun filming some of the animals on the farm.

The first to get film star treatment was adorable Erol. Born at the farm on 3rd September 2014 to mum Connie, a British White Cow, Erol has always been inquisitive and when the camera was put in his paddock, it was no exception! As you can see from the video, he was very curious about the new addition in his paddock! Click here to see the video on Odds Farm Park’s YouTube Channel.

Over the next few weeks, the Farmers will be making more videos of the animals and visitors will be pleased to learn they can be the first to see them on the Farm’s Facebook page! Simply click here to become a Facebook Fan!

Families on a day out will love to meet Erol and plenty more furry friends at the farm and take part in the Daily Animal Activities and Demonstrations. Plus don’t miss stacks of play in the Giant Indoor Playbarn and plenty of Outdoor Adventure including Go Karts, Crazy Golf and more!

Award winning kid’s farm Odds Farm Park is open from 10am to 5.30pm, 362 days a year, and is easily reached from London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Middlesex. It is very close to Maidenhead, Marlow, Slough, High Wycombe, Amersham and Chesham. For more information, directions and prices visit the family days out website www.oddsfarm.co.uk
