From Humble Beginnings to a Rare Breed Haven
Odds Farm Park first opened its gates to the public in 1993, born from the passion and vision of Steve and Jackie Vinden. What began as a small rare breeds farm has grown into one of the UK’s leading farm parks, welcoming generations of families to experience the charm of countryside life.
For over 30 years, Odds Farm Park has been a place where memories are made—from first encounters with friendly farm animals to joyful days spent exploring our play areas and seasonal events. Steve and Jackie remain at the heart of the farm, still very much hands-on, and you’ll often spot them around the park, sharing in the joy that Odds brings to visitors every day.
A Home for Rare Breeds
At the core of our mission is a deep commitment to the conservation of the UK’s rare breeds. Today, Odds Farm Park is proud to be home to over 16 rare breeds of farm animals and equines, many of which are classed as ‘priority’ or ‘at risk’. From our charming Middle White pigs and curious Bagot goats to the majestic Exmoor Pony, each animal plays a vital role in preserving Britain’s agricultural heritage.
Celebrating 30 Years of Farmyard Fun
In 2023, we marked a major milestone—our 30th birthday! We celebrated with a week-long party during May half term, filled with sheep shearing demonstrations, kid goat bottle feeding, silly shows, games, arts and crafts, and plenty of party fun. It was a joyful reminder of how far we’ve come and how much there is still to enjoy.

More Than Just a Farm
Odds Farm Park is more than just a place to meet animals. With acres of outdoor adventure play, tractor and trailer rides, H2Odds water play, Marmalade’s Mini Rovers, a giant Indoor Playbarn, and a full schedule of animal activities, there’s something for everyone—rain or shine.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. We’re growing our events calendar to bring even more magic to the farm, all year round. From Adult Nights where grown-ups can reconnect with their inner child, to The Big Sheepover—our unique family camping experience under the stars—there’s always something new to discover. We also offer Exclusive Hire for private celebrations and corporate events, and we’re excited to soon launch adult craft sessions, perfect for those looking to unwind and get creative in a relaxed countryside setting.
