It was celebrations all round at visitor attraction, Odds Farm Park, as Perky, a Gloucestershire Old Spot pig gave birth to a cute litter of piglets and was closely followed by her sister, Pinky, giving birth the very next day!
Gloucestershire Old Spots are the oldest spotted pedigree pig breed in the world and, known for being extremely placid and laid back, the females make great mums.
Both Pinky and Perky are taking care of their cute new arrivals very well and are now on show with both litters of piglets for visitors to see on a day out.
Elsewhere at Odds Farm Park, families on a day out can meet even more furry friends in the Outdoor Animal Paddocks or get close up in the Designated Animal Feeding Area. Combined with a jam-packed Animal Activity and Demonstration Programme, there’s so much to do!
Award winning kid’s farm Odds Farm Park provides a fantastic day for all the family and is easily reached from West London, London, Berkshire, North London, Buckinghamshire and Oxford. It is very close to Maidenhead, Marlow, Uxbridge and Beaconsfield. For more information, directions and prices visit the family days out website www.oddsfarm.co.uk
