Animal Activity Host

We are an open farm park and rare breeds centre.

We are currently looking to recruit an animal activity host to be part of our Livestock Team.

You will be responsible for daily farm activities/ talks to the general public this involves public speaking alongside the animals.

Working with a 7 day rota including some weekends and bank holidays.

Applicants to be successful need to be confident working with people and speaking to public.

Food & Beverage Supervisor

We are currently looking to recruit a Food & Beverage Supervisor within a unique environment, close to nature and farm animals, at Odds Farm Park.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will contribute to the smooth running of our award winning Catering Department, and is a very varied role. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is flexible and willing to assist in all areas as required, including food preparation, front of house, food and coffee servery, as well as throughout of outdoor catering kiosks.

Further duties will also include: management and training of the wider catering team, alongside the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, responsibility for contributing to ensuring 5* Hygiene Rating is maintained, overseeing the smooth running of outside catering kiosks and some admin duties.

We are looking to recruit a team member with hospitality experience. In addition, the right candidate will have:

  • Great customer service skills and a passion for the role – previous customer service and/or sales experience preferably in the tourism, leisure, retail or entertainment industry
  • Great, positive interaction, verbal communication, with both customers and colleagues alike – a natural optimist
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure, with mixed customer and audiences, whilst being able to manage larger groups/volumes of people
  • A flexible and versatile nature.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and contribute ideas that will improve and support team
  • Must be a strong team-player, whilst having the ability to manage situations on one’s own and confidently make decisions, whilst managing time wisely.

Development and progression within the team will be available for those seeking personal growth.

Hours will be full-time and variable, across a 7 day rota, including weekends and bank holidays. Full training, including Food Hygiene and Allergen courses, will be provided.
