Middle White Piglets
Middle White Piglets

On Tuesday 19 January, Cider, the Middle White pig who is a first time mum, gave birth to beautiful piglets. Visitors on the day were lucky enough to see the piglets being born. Cider started farrowing at about 9.30am and continued to give birth until 1.30pm. After the delivery Cider had a well deserved rest. Cider’s sister Scrumpy, also at Odds Farm Park, has now become an aunty. The last time Middle White piglets were born at Odds Farm Park was two and a half years ago.

The Middle White Pig Breeders Club established in 1990 has as its Patron the well-known chef Antony Worrall Thompson whose enthusiasm for the breed has led him to breed his own Middle White pigs.

Odds Farm Park offers a great hands-on day out for the whole family and is located just of the M40 at Junction 2 and the closest farm park for those living in Berkshire, West London, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Odds Farm Park and many other farm parks are members of the National Farm Attraction Network.
