Online ‘Once Upon A Christmas’ Booking Information

Following the recent national change in Government COVID restrictions, tickets for Once Upon a Christmas will now be available for visits from Thursday 3rd – Thursday 24th December upon Odds Farm Park reopening.

Availability and details of the event may be subject to change in light of Government guidelines on the date of visit.

By continuing to book, you are agreeing that you have read all of the information below and that you agree to our Christmas Booking Terms and Conditions.

Selecting A Timed Session

Once you proceed with your booking, you will be prompted to select a Christmas Arrival Time Session. The time session you choose will be your initial arrival time at Odds Farm Park. These sessions last for 15 minutes each, and you can arrive at the time Farm Park any time during this session. For example, if you have booked the 9:15am session, you are welcome to arrive between 9:15am and 9:29am at Odds Farm Park.

Your Once Upon A Christmas experience will start 30 minutes after your arrival time session has ended. For example, if you have booked the 9:15am to 9.29am Arrival Time Session, your Once Upon A Christmas experience will start at 10:00am.

Once Upon A Christmas Time Sessions cannot be changed to an alternative time. By booking a given arrival time session, you are choosing to take part in your Once Upon A Christmas experience 30 minutes later.

After your Once Upon A Christmas experience is complete, you are welcome to stay at the Farm Park until our close at 17:30 (Please note, Odds Farm Park will close early at 15:30 on 24th December 2020).

Selecting Tickets For Your Group

All children wishing to meet Father Christmas and receive a take home gift, require a Once Upon A Christmas Ticket. This includes children Under 2 years. Babe-in-arms not participating are free of charge, but must be pre-booked with families attending Once Upon a Christmas.

Annual Members must purchase a Member Child Once Upon A Christmas Ticket, and present a valid Annual Membership Card upon arrival the Farm Park.

Accompanying Adults are required to pre-book their Admission Tickets to Odds Farm Park, however can join their family at the experience without further charge, as part of the Once Upon A Christmas Ticket booking.

All children must be accompanied by an adult and the maximum group size is 6, including all under 2s, ‘babe in arms’, carers, adults and seniors.

If you are running early, we kindly ask that you wait in your car until your arrival time session starts.
If you are running late, 
we kindly ask that you remain in your car and contact the Farm Park directly, where we will endeavour to reschedule you for an alternative session that day. Please note that if all other sessions are fully-booked, you may be asked to return on another day, subject to availability.

Details of the event, along with dates and timings of event may be subject to change. In the event of an extended lockdown, should this include your booking, you will be contacted directly to reschedule.


In the event that your Once Upon A Christmas booking cannot go ahead due to Government restrictions, we will endeavour to rebook your Christmas experience for an alternative date. Where this is not possible, a Gift Voucher will be issued for the total balance of the booking, which can be redeemed towards future visits at Odds Farm Park.

FAQs

Due to necessary Government Guidelines, we cannot offer one-to-one grotto visits with Father Christmas at this time. Guests can meet Father Christmas during a group social-distanced story-time instead. This change of event allows us to offer our well-known Christmas experience, yet meet necessary requirements, in order to keep our guests and our Christmas Team safe. The number of groups visiting Father Christmas at any one time will be restricted, and group sizes will be capped at 6 people. The story-time setting is a spacious and well ventilated area. After the story, guests will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with Father Christmas, and will also receive their Cuddly Creation to take home. This year, the Elves Workshop shall not be an included element in the experience, due to social distancing requirements. However, guests will receive their Cuddly Creation to build and make as a gift to take home from Father Christmas himself or one of his Elves. After leaving the story-time setting, guests will enter the Enchanted Woodland, for a magical stroll to the North Pole, before finally arriving at The Toyshop, where an Elf will help you select your special gift.

Due to social distancing regulations, we cannot accept bookings for a group larger than 6 people. This includes all children, adults, carers and babe in arms.

In line with Government regulations, face coverings must be worn by any individuals aged 11 years and over in all indoor areas of the Farm Park, including for the duration of the Once Upon A Christmas Event.


This will include at any photo opportunities.

During the story time element of the event, and within the theatre and performance setting, as professional actors, the Christmas Team will not be required to wear a face covering. Outside of the festive fairy-tale setting, you will see the Elves wearing their face coverings around the Farm Park.

Father Christmas will be reading to his guests within an intimate, festive story-time setting. Families will be seated on the floor to listen to the story, however cushions and stools will be provided for your comfort. For those who find sitting more difficult, chairs can be requested upon arrival at the Once Upon A Christmas experience.

Guests will visit Father Christmas in groups, within our cosy and well ventilated festive story-time setting. Guests will listen to the story sitting with their group only, and will be positioned the necessary distance away from all other groups. All contact areas will be thoroughly sanitised and disinfected by the Elves and team between each story-time session.

Father Christmas and the Elves will maintain all necessary social distances at all times.

After listening to the story, groups will be invited to have their photo taken with Father Christmas. Father Christmas will be socially distanced from a group for the photograph.


Adults and children aged 11 years and over must keep their face coverings on at all times.

After the story has finished, each group will be invited to meet Father Christmas individually, as well as take a photograph as a memento of the day, within the story-time setting

Should changes to our operation be made by the Government, we shall get in touch with all guests with bookings via the contact details provided. We shall endeavour to rearrange bookings for an alternative date.

While guests with additional needs are welcome to attend Once Upon A Christmas on any of the days available, we are offering an SEN specific day on Wednesday 9th December for the first time this year. On this date, the story-time experience will take a slower pace, with 1 hour set aside. Our Christmas Team will tailor the story-time to meet the needs of the guests attending. Guests will still take part in all elements described within the Once Upon A Christmas experience, and will have the opportunity to take a photo with Father Christmas should they wish.


Proof of disability will be required to be presented upon arrival at Odds Farm Park. Each individual visiting Odds Farm Park requires their own Admission Ticket, as well as booking for the Once Upon A Christmas experience. This includes all carers and additional adults.

Complimentary Passes will be unable to be redeemed prior to 1st September 2020, for online admission. Passes which expire 21st March 2020-31st December 2020, will be extended until 31st March 2021. Complimentary Tickets exclude Saturdays, selected peak times and special events for example Easter, Halloween and Christmas.

Things to Remember During Your Visit:

  • Wash your hands regularly.
  • Maintain social distancing between yourselves, other guests and staff where possible.
  • Where possible, pay by card. Guests can use our website and new App to place Click and Collect food orders.
  • Cough and sneeze into a tissue, or your elbow. Dispose of any tissues and litter directly into the bins provided.
  • Do not visit, or stay at the farm should you, or any of your party, feel unwell or have any symptoms of Coronavirus.

We have put in place new measures to keep all of our guests and staff safe during your visit and to support social distancing, which you can view here.

As an outdoor family farm park attraction, we have always actively encouraged regular handwashing for all guests. We ask our guests to observe good hygiene practices when they visit by washing their hands at one of the many handwashing stations upon arrival and regularly throughout their visit.
