Jo And Millie Enjoy The Grass At Odds Farm Park

Visitors to family day out favourite, Odds Farm Park, will be delighted to hear of the arrival of two Highland cattle.   Named Millie and Jo, the friendly duo have come to the farm from Etchingham in East Sussex and can be seen by families on a day out in one of the Dipple Paddocks.

Visitors to the popular children’s farm will be interested to learn that the Highland breed of cattle has a long and distinguished ancestry, not only in its homeland of western Scotland, but also in many far-flung parts of the world.  They are one of Britain’s oldest, most distinctive and best known breeds, with a long, thick, flowing coat of rich hair and majestic sweeping horns, the Highland has remained largely unchanged over the centuries.

Elsewhere at Odds Farm Park, people on a day out can expect more exciting activities – board Tractor & Trailer Rides (until the end of October Half Term – weather permitting), race Go Karts and meet the Farmers and hand-feed furry friends in the large Undercover Animal Barns.  Combined with a jam-packed Animal Activity and Demonstration Programme, there’s so much to do!

Plus, if it is raining on a summer day out, children will love to discover the Giant Indoor Playbarn, where they’ll find a massive adventure play area including 4 lane Astra Slide, 2 large drop slides, a netted area with zig zag chicanes & tunnels, swinging ropes and much more.  With special Toddler and Under 5’s areas, there’s bags of fun for all ages.  And adults can relax with a delicious speciality coffee from the Espresso Bar!

Odds Farm Park is easily reached from Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, Marlow and Henley.  For more information, directions and prices visit the family days out website www.oddsfarm.co.uk
